I interned at FX as a Television Academy fellow in the fall of 2023. That December, I sat down with Caitlin Neuville and spilled all on my dreams, aspirations, and next steps!
After three grueling months of seminars and networking events, presenting on Deaf representation, and working with DEI to mandate inclusion training for all, I graduated from the Disney internship program in December 2023- complete with a Mickey Mouse graduation cap.
As a student at Boston University, I would never have guessed I’d pitch adding a Deaf chef to The Bear- yet I did! While I have yet to meet with Christopher Storer, FX valued my speaking up for the Deaf community. I will always be grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
When I woke up on May 3, 2024, I did not expect my photo in The Hollywood Reporter- yet, there I was- standing proudly as a RespectAbility Entertainment Fellow.
